Shepherd Tsoka

Shepherd Tsoka is a professional and skilled Data Analytics & Insights Specialist, with over 15 years of experience in Market Research, Institutional Research, Telecommunication, Education and Finance related projects. He has over 13 years of experience in Data Analytics and Insights, with a rich experience in Predictive modelling, Market & Institutional analysis and Education Analytics.

He is also experienced in data base management and reporting using SQL and Business Objects, story telling of insights hidden within numbers, through live data dashboards, interactive reports, charts, and other visual representations, using Power BI, Google Data Studio, excel etc. He has experience and understanding of Business Intelligence processes, related analytical tools and large data analysis, knowledge of Business analysis and Process Mapping, competitor analysis, Segmentation, Customer analytics, forecasting and trend analysis. He is also knowledgeable on machine learning algorithms and Artificial Intelligence and exposure to international markets (East and Southern African Markets).

Tsoka enjoys working on projects that have a social impact in the livelihoods of people, and Education has proved to be one such. He joined JET as a Data Manager for the Anglo American South Africa (AASA) Education Programme.
