JET commemorates Nelson Mandela Day 2022

Mandela Day is commemorated annually on the 18th July, a celebration of our collective power to create a global movement for good and make a positive impact on the world.

Nelson Mandela famously said "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". This belief has been the driving force behind JET 's work since its founding in 1992. 

As we celebrate Mandela's life this Mandela Day, we remember that Tata Mandela embodied one of JET's core values: Being people-centred. "A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of."  

The Nelson Mandela Foundation encourages us all to “Do What You Can, With What You Have, Where You Are”

JET is reaching out to schools we work in communities in Kwazulu-Natal affected by the recent floods through a donation towards Gift of the Givers' relief efforts in the province.  

The JET team spent the day giving back to the community by handing out warm meals to needy individuals around our Parktown, Johannesburg office. See pictures below:
