Jaya holds a Masters in Management with specialisation in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Public and Development Management from the Wits School of Governance. She also holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Sciences. She has over six years of experience in handling project management, monitoring, evaluation and research-related functions in externally-funded development projects in India and as an independent evaluator for a Teacher professional development project in South Africa. She has experience and keen interest in Results-based Management (RBM) systems, Theory of Change (TOC), Designing M&E Systems and Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks, Indicator development, and in applying plethora of qualitative and quantitative methods for evaluations.
