Lesedi holds a BA Degree in Politics and International Relations; Honours in Public Policy, Management and Governance; Master’s in Public Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation; Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg (UJ); two certificates in Artificial intelligence & African insights from UJ and two Certificates in Public Policy Analysis and Africa’s Development, and Thought Leadership for Africa's Renewal from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is also a Doctorate candidate at the University of Johannesburg.

He has previously worked as a Health Facilitator for two years in an NGO named Society for Family Health (SFH), and worked as an Academic tutor and student consultant at UJ for 2 years. He has various work experience in research and evaluation development from other research organisations. He is currently a leader of the youth community and has many goals and plans which revolve around improvement of youth well-being, involvement of young people in SA society, and finding and promoting young leaders.

He has authored, and co-authored a few number of publications, including academic journals, and conference papers and has presented at many conferences.
