PSET CLOUD
The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) entered into an agreement with JET to fund a project called Post-School Education and Training Collaboration and Learning Opportunities and Utilisation of Data (PSET CLOUD). The current PSET system is characterised by fragmentation of data, duplication of resources and a lack of coherence of information leading to an ineffective system for planning and decision making with regard to future needs in skills development.
The purpose of the PSET CLOUD project is to establish an integrated digital ecosystem that will strengthen, integrate, coordinate and improve efficiencies through governance and management of the PSET ecosystem. The project aims to promote the interoperability of data and systems, including the adoption of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and big data capabilities in solving complex problems. Finally, the project aims to promote learning and continuous improvement to drive innovation in the PSET system.
