Trialogue Webinar: A model of collective impact: TICZA

Trialogue and TICZA are hosting a webinar on 29 September 2022 sharing insights on collective impact and how this is being adopted to bring about systemic change in the education sector.

The development sector is characterised by multiple initiatives working independently, often pursuing a common goal. Efforts made to collaborate are often hampered by the vested interests of various stakeholders. Yet, to achieve scale and developmental impact, multiple parties need to work together, leveraging their unique capabilities and relationships to advance a common agenda. This approach to development is known as collective impact.

The Teacher Internship Collaboration South Africa (TICZA) is a collaborative entity established to support effective, efficient teacher internship models. The internship model can provide a cost effective and quality outcome for teacher education and therefore should be scaled and adopted more broadly. TICZA brings stakeholders including government, the private sector, academia and implementing partners together to provide research, advance practice and support the broader adoption of this internship model.
