NASCEE - National Association of Social Change Entities in Education launch conference
The overall objective of NASCEE is to support and amplify the voice and positive image of education NPOs within South Africa and abroad.
To formally launch the Association, an inaugural conference will be held to showcase some of the amazing work that NPOs and NGOs are doing and their contribution towards education in South Africa. The NASCEE conference 2019 will also offer community leaders, activists and strategists a platform to come together and share insights.
Dr Rooksana Rajab, Project Manager of NASCEE comments: “We are passionate about education and transferring skills to the people who need it most. NASCEE was created as an opportunity to build long-lasting partnerships that will help grow NPOs in the education sector and achieve goals together for greater impact in education. With this conference, each NPO attending will leverage from a fostered opportunity which strengthens networking and communication.”
We are proud to announce that we have a number of key speakers such as the Former President of South Africa, Kgalema Motlanthe speaking on Cohesion, Collaboration and Innovation through dialogue in education, Dr Kumi Naidoo elaborating on the Role of NPOs in Education and Dr Barney Pityana highlighting the Role of Education in a thriving democracy.
