Learning and building back better
This compendium publication published by the Commonwealth Secretariat is an output of the #ResearchersinPursuit Bootcamp, a collaboration between JET Education Services and the Commonwealth. This action research project, which involved young volunteer researchers working under the mentorship of senior researchers and other experts, was conducted over a short period of time during world-wide COVID-19 lockdowns and aimed to provide ‘real time’ inputs that could be of use to policymakers. The compendium presents and integrates the findings from twelve research themes according to five cross-cutting dimensions: uncertainty and complexity; risk, anticipation, opportunity and personal risk; hunger, anxiety, depression, abuse and boredom; inequality, social cleavages and resources; and information, accountability and responsiveness.
