The youth represent a large percentage of sub Saharan Africa's population and their schooling has been affected significantly by the pandemic and other factors. Levels of school dropout from post-basic education in sub-Saharan Africa are alarming. James Keevy, CEO at JET Education Services was an external reviewer for the publication
"In this publication, young people in Africa speak up about their aspirations and experiences of post-basic education. This synthesis report also assesses learning opportunities, considers factors affecting take-up, and identifies barriers and enablers of youth participation."
