Patrick has an undergraduate degree in Conservation Tourism and Sustainable Development from the North West University, Mafikeng campus. He obtained his Honours degree in Development Studies from the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Campus. He joined the Centre for Social Change as a was a junior research assistant focusing on protests as an area of interest for the centre. His research interest during his Honours degree was on Decolonisation and Curriculum, thus when he saw the opportunity at JET Education Services which provided a door into education sector research, it was the easiest decision for him to make to take the opportunity to be a part of the JETstreaming programme. He is a researcher with 2 years of experience working in the education sector on both local and international projects. Patrick loves challenges and has coordinated a team of multinational researchers on a project, including the Monitoring & Evaluation Hackathon. Patrick was appointed as a Technology Research Officer at JET in 2020 and promoted to a Researcher in January 2024.
