Tshegofatso Mashaphu is a qualified teacher with a B.Ed. honours and a master of Education Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. A researcher in education research with much interest in Teacher Professional Development, Initial Teacher Education, Physical Science Teacher Education and Education Monitoring and Evaluation.
She has worked in multiple Education Research and Monitoring and Evaluation projects in the South African schooling system, ranging from teacher training in Early childhood development (ECD), curriculum management and coverage, monitoring and management, Governance for formulation of Teacher Development Policies, Curriculum and Assessment, Student Teacher Internships and many others. I am a firm believer in Critical Problem identification and Solving, Creativity, Innovation, Implementation, Social Justice and Change for the better. Above career development, I also believe in personal development for improved interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. An advocate for women and girl child empowerment.
