The preschool development resources were developed by Roelien Herholdt as part of an educational psychology project in which Grade R teachers received training in understanding perceptual skills and developing practical resources to teach perceptual skills.
The latest instalment in the "All you need to know" series explains fine motor development, which underlies and is correlated with many everyday and academic skills.
