Bertha Centre is one of the TICZA Convening group members leading the development of the Common Competency Framework.
The Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, established in 2011, is Africa's first academic institution dedicated to promoting social innovation and entrepreneurship. Its mission is to create social impact and advance social justice across the continent. The Centre achieves this by educating individuals, conducting research, organizing events, catalyzing initiatives, and advocating for a systems approach to social innovation. It is a specialized facility within the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business.
